Born in 1959 in Kahramanmaraş. He graduated from İstanbul University’s Department of History. As a professional journalist; he worked as an editor, a columnist and a journalist for various newspapers such as Son Havadis (1980), Tercüman (1983 -1991), Türkiye, İHA, TGRT (1993–1997), Yeni Ufuk (1997), Akşam (1998), Dünden Bugüne Tercüman ve daha sonra Bugün (2003–2006). He won awards with his articles “Yapacak Bir Şey Yok ki”, “Kendine İyi Bak” and “Çizgi Film Estetiği.” Çokyiğit is a member of SIYAD (Turkish Film Critics Association – FIPRESCI-Turkey).
Göker graduated from İstanbul University’s Law Faculty, and Institue Commerce International in Paris in 1973. He is fluent in French. He worked as a legal advisor for İstanbul Chamber of Commerce (İTO) from 1973 to 2008. He co-founded Sinematek with Şakir Eczacıbaşı and Onat Kutlar, and acted as a board member. In 1998, he cofounded SİYAD with late film critic Kani Suveren and Atilla Dorsay. Along with being a special legal advisor for ITO, he carries out his duty as an expert at Commercial Courts of İstanbul, Kadıköy and Bakırköy. Expert in Land Transport Law, Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law, Transport Legislation, Foreign Trade Law and Trade Registry Law. Fenerbahçe Congress Member. He also served as the Chairman of Fenerbahçe Legal Affairs Board. He’s a film critic and columnist for “Ekonomik Durum” and “Büyük Kulüp.” His articles were published in Cumhuriyet, Milliyet, Vatan, Dünya, Bodrum İTO Magazine and İTO Newspaper. Göker carries out his duties as a High Council Advisor and Library Curator for Cercle D’Orient. Some of his stories have been adapted into screenplays, and he authored the books “Yenikapı Hikâyeleri”, “Bedia” and “Babam Düşüyor.” He’s currently working on his latest book “Çakallar Dünyası.”
Rıza Oylum was born in Istanbul in 1984. He received his bachelor’s degree in Turkish Language and Literature from Istanbul Kültür University, and his master’s degree in Turkish Literature from Trakya University’s Institute of Social Sciences. He wrote articles on film and literature for Varlık, Virgül, Agora, Radikal Genç, Birgün, Cumhuriyet Kitap, Film Arası, Modern Zamanlar, Spot, Kitapçı, Sendika.org, Edebiyathaber. net, Tersninja.com, Filmloverss.com and sinemadunya.com. He is also the author of Far Eastern Cinema, Russian Cinema, German Cinema, Middle Eastern Cinema, Cinema Lessons and The 90s. He contributed to the book “Social Issues in Turkish Cinema” with his article entitled “Revolutionism in Turkish Cinema in the Post-2000s.” Oylum is a member of SİYAD (Turkish Film Critics Association – FIPRESCI-Turkey). He is an editor at Net Yayınları and Seyyah Kitap, and a columnist for the Film Arası magazine. Oylum is currently working on national cinema and literary adaptations.
