The Syrian refugee Sahra is rescued by the Transilvanian (Romanian) immigrant Mirona, who survived by playing accordions in the streets, while her passport and supplies were being seized to work in Istanbul, and Mirona will help her at the expense of deportation as Sahra is so similar to her.
Born in Batman in 1989. He studied business administration at Marmara University, and attended a 3-month film course at Lodz Film School in Poland. He worked on many documentary and fictional films. His 3 short films were screened at various festivals. His feature debut, which was filmed in Paris, is currently in post-production.

The film is about a dog and its owner. On his way back from hunting, İsmail runs into Mehmet, the naive shepherd of the village. Mehmet invites İsmail to sit next to him under the tree. And overwhelmed by the heat, İsmail joins him.
Recep Çavdar worked on many TV and cinema projects from 2010 to 2016. Along with acting, he’s also been working as a dramaturg at the Academy of Performing Arts in Istanbul since 2014.

Alkim Ozmen is a first assistant director and short filmmaker based in Istanbul. After his graduation from Istanbul Bilgi University Film Department with a M.A degree in 2005, he started to work as an assistant director. He took part in the production of over ninety episodes of TV series and ten feature films as first/second assistant director. One of those films is “Once Upon a Time in Anatolia”, which was bestowed Grand Prix by the Jury at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. His three short documentaries and three short films were screened at numerous festivals around the world

Is it beyond ethical boundaries or a legitimate right to demand one’s wage during a funeral? The old lady that Sevim nursed has died. All the relatives meet at her house for the funeral. Although being sad, Sevim has to demand her belated wage. While she is disturbed of the ethical conflict of demanding her wage in a funeral home, this issue becomes a huge incident for this upper-middle class family due to the uncertainty of the payer of this month among the family members.
Born in 1992 in İstanbul. She graduated from Istanbul University’s Department of Theatre Criticism and Dramaturgy. Writer of two theater plays, “Oyuna Alanına! (2009) and “Kabuk (2010), Alptekin starred in “The Blue Wave” in 2013, and received many awards with this film. She’s among the co-directors of the feature documentary “Ben Bir Slogan Buldum: Annem Benim Yanımda.” After working as the assistant editor on Yeşim Ustaoğlu’s “Clair Obscure” in 2016, she assumed the role of editor for Emre Erdoğdu’s feature debut, Snow, in 2017, and directed her first short film, Ground Level, in 2016. She continues her postgraduate education in Film and Drama at Kadir Has University, while working as an assistant editor and post-production manager at Ustaoğlu Film.

It’s a cold winter night in a village clinic in Anatolia. A little girl who was forced into marriage by her family escapes and takes refugee in the forest. She wants to commit suicide, but she can’t. In the morning, foresters find the bride and take her to the village clinic. Ismail is also there with his pregnant wife who soon gives birth to a premature baby, who must be taken to a hospital. Doctor knows that the baby’s life at risk, but he doesn’t tell İsmail. Ismail goes to the city with his baby. While the soldier guarding the clinic is on the phone, brother of the bride comes running with a gun.
Born in Erzincan in 1984. He graduated from New York Film Academy and worked on many projects at Evci Film Production for three years. He contributed to several music videos, commercials and feature film projects, and worked as a cinematographer on both national and international projects. In 2010, he shot his first short film, Beklentiler, in New York City. He founded, Caglar Motion Picture&Film in 2012.

He born in 1989 in Erzurum’s Horasan Aliceyrek village. He completed primary and secondary education in Aliceyrek and high school in Horasan. After he had graduated high school in 2006, he made a pause as much as 5 years. He entered the university entrance exam in 2011 and won at Department of Radio and TV in Istanbul University. During University years, Rıdvan Yavuz who graduated in 2015 in Istanbul University made a lot of short films and documentary films. Nowadays, He has been doing a master at Department of journalism in Atatürk University.

A group of blind workers of a weaving factory are taken to a different workplace once a month to separate rocks from the cotton. The boss’ nephew Sadik has not yet seen the real face of this world that he wants to enter. Basri, who has successfully carried out every order of his boss has a new task now: teaching Sadik the realities of this world they reside in. The biggest truth which Sadik is to discover, is that this “unseeing eye” has extended to him. Just as Bruegel expresses in his painting “De Parabel der Blinden”, Sadik will be “The blind leading the blind.”
Born in 1990 in Osmaniye. He adapted the stories he wrote during his high school years into screenplays. He continues to make short films in Adana while doing his master’s degree in mechanical engineering at Cukurova University. His short films were screened at both national and international film festivals, and won many awards.

8-year-old Toprak goes to the hospital to translate for his parents who can’t speak French. They’re at the hospital for his mother’s second trimester ultrasound. He will be the first one to know if the twin babies are brothers or sisters.
Onur Yagiz (1986) was born in France to Turkish parents. He studied literature, theatre and film at the Sorbonne-Nouvelle University, before directing Patika (2013), his first short film. Toprak (2017) is his second film.

The film focuses on the struggle of the widows who have settled in an abandoned building with their children. They try to conceal their beauty to avoid the harassment by the men helping them, but their efforts turn out to be in vain. When one of them gets harassed, the widows come up with a shocking solution.
Born in 1977 in Aksaray. He graduated from İstanbul University’s Faculty of Communications. After working as an assistant camera on several TV series, films, commercials and music videos, Sorkut made his debut as a cinematographer in the Turkish drama series “The Fall of The Leaves.” He pursued his cinematography career in other Turkish series; Ayrıca Bir Bulut Olsam, Yer Gök Aşk, Küçük Ağa, Bir Bulut Olsam, and Kertenkele.

In a time when wars are made with swords, in an imaginary land, two armies set out to conquer new lands. They encounter with each other on top of a valley that seperates them. It becomes necessary for each commander to overcome this natural obstacle and crush the opposite army.
Salih Toprak began to study film at Mimar Sinan University in 2010. During his education, he has made many short movies and short animation films which won many awards at national and international film festivals. Toprak lives and continues to work on his projects in Istanbul.
Can Erkan studies animation at Anadolu University’s Faculty of Fine Arts in Eskişehir, Turkey. He’s been making independent short animations since 2014.
